My first travel photo here is one I took while out in the middle of the Serengeti, Tanzania back in 2009. For me, whenever I think of Africa I always visualise these canopy tree’s as being the symbol of the continent! Anyone who has been to Africa knows just how spectacular these tree’s are. I must have photographed hundreds of them while I was there. This lone three was my favourite as it was the only one in sight, and it stood out like a sore thumb – but in a good way. Serengeti trees always will remind me of my time volunteering in Africa.
I did some minor adjustments with the colour balance in Lightroom, as the foreground was a little washed out due to overexposure. You can see a more heavily edited version of the same photo here as well.
