Spend a Long Weekend in Dubai

Dubai is an amazing part of the world that more and more people are visiting every year. Thanks to its many beautiful buildings, amazing shops and sumptuous food spending a long weekend here is nothing short of wonderful.

Let’s take a look at how much fun you can cram into a long weekend in Dubai:

Day One

– The Bus Tour

The Hop on/Hop off bus tour is a great way for you to see all of the sights. Taking you down Sheikh Zayed Road (Also known as ‘SZR’), the bus will take you to more than 40 different destinations giving you a real feel for the area.

– The Mall of the Emirates

One of the largest malls in the world, The Mall of the Emirates is such a great place that is home to a 4D cinema, top quality restaurants and some amazing stores. While wandering around the store you may want to stop off for a meal although it may be hard to choose where to dine as there are a lot of different nationalities catered to here.

– Dubai Fountains

Located just outside Dubai Mall are the fountains that are simply amazing. These fountains are not ordinary by any means as they are made up of a choreographed system and they are spread throughout Downtown Dubai. The fountains are likely to have been mentioned on any Dubai holiday deals information you’ve read as they’re very well known.

Day Two

– Aquaventure Waterpark

If you happen to be in Dubai with your children or you simply want to enjoy a bit of splashing around then you are sure to love your time at Aquaventure Waterpark. This water park which is found at Atlantis the Palm has a lot of crazy water slides, a shark-filled lagoon and a Torrent River which should only be tackled by the brave. It is possible for you to spend a whole day here as there are a lot of restaurants in the water park.

– Sunset Dinner Cruise

After spending a lot of time in the water why not spend some time on the water and enjoy a sunset dinner aboard a yacht that will take you around Dubai’s marina? After your meal, you can hang around the yacht and enjoy the open-air decks whilst reflecting on your time in this great city.

Day Three

– Burj Khalifa

If you are lucky enough to be spending an extra day in Dubai then you’ll need to head to the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building. Visit the 140th floor and take a look at the sprawling city below in one of Dubai’s most popular tourist attractions.

– Dubai Festival City

Enjoy your final meal in Dubai at Dubai Festival City that offers a three-course Italian-style meal at a good price. The food here is very good and helps to bring your long weekend to a close while you look back on your time in one of the world’s most beautiful cities.

There is so much to see and do in Dubai that you may wonder how you’re going to fit everything in. So, if you don’t get to see everything you want to on your weekend away you can always plan to see those sights the next time you’re here!
