June 2016 Income/Expense Report
Hey guys! You’re here because you’ve signed up to receive our monthly income & expenses reports.
The primary goal of these income reports is to give you an idea of how we manage our online endeavours, and to give you an indication of how much it costs to live and travel in the countries that we do. We figured they will also be a great motivator for us to keep striving towards bigger numbers in terms of income at the end of every month.
If you’re new to the blog, you’ll see that our main source of income is our content creation agency that we built-up from scratch back in late 2012. You can read more about how we make money online here.
Anyway, let’s get down to business…
The report below is a breakdown of our total income for the month of June 2016 as well as a rundown of our expenses and it also states the profit or loss figure after all is said and done.
If you’d like to see our past Income reports then head on over here to check them out!

———————————————————
Greetings from Sin City! We’ve finally arrived a few days ago after a torturous 52 hour journey from our hometown in Ireland.
June literally flew by for us and we travelled through Bosnia, Croatia and Slovenia during the month.
This income report for June will cover the income we generated and the expenses we incurred while travelling through those above countries, as well as our short two week stint back home in Ireland.
INCOME
We generated a total of €8,333.83 in income for the month.
This was about €600+ more than the previous month of May.
Over the next few months, we’re not sure if those figures will increase or decrease by any significant amounts as we’re more of less sitting on a slight plateau the past few months.
And we’re happy enough with that if we’re honest. Keeping things consistent in an online world where inconsistency runs wild isn’t a bad thing at the end of the day.
EXPENSES
We spent €7,277.85 last month.
This was roughly €1,200 more than in May and was attributed largely to a few boozy sessions with our friends back in Ireland!
Here’s a few notes about some of the expenses throughout the month:
- Nights out drinking: €568
- Dentist – tooth extraction and cleaning: €135
- Train journeys in Slovenia and Ireland: €93.50
- SLR camera sensor cleaning: €50
- Donation to Barretts town children’s charity: €27
Positive Month
We had a profit of +€1,055.98 at the end of the month.
Forecast
Now that we’re living in Las Vegas for the next three months, we’ve more or less accepted the fact that we’ll probably spend more than we’ll make for those few months.
With rent coming in at $1150 (€1040) per month, our general day to day living expenses will double.
However, we’re viewing these 3 months as a holiday for us….because we’re not travelling and we’ve got a cool apartment with a pool to chill at. No more country hopping or daily bus journeys for a few months at least!
The Vegas strip is 1.5 miles away from us so we’ve got a lot of look forward to over the next few months…which should make for some interesting snapchat stores.
Snapchat
Snapchat is where we’re investing a lot of time the past 6 months. We’ve been working hard on building up a following over there, so if you’d like to follow us, then screenshot the image below and add us on Snapchat! Username on = nxtstopwhoknows
